Learning through the body
I have primarily worked with children and young people, and that is from where my main interest for social media has developed. I have for a long time been fascinated by social media and their role in our everyday lives. I have been the creator of several projects with young people dealing with just the use of social media. With my PhD project I want to explore how drama can stimulate to critical reflection about the use of social media. The intention is to examine the bodily dimension of reflexive work, as it is a dimension which is central in working with drama in education, yet rarely examined. The project will also be a contribution to today’s school debate which circles around efficiency and productivity thinking (PISA, TIMSS, etc.).
